I'm collecting stories of survivors that I know of Storm Sendong. ""Woke up at 1 am, after a couple of minutes water was waist deep, then it rose up to my neck, mom had to rip off our house's alcuba, then I had to carry my brother , then my 80 year-old grandma, then mom up. We stayed there for an hour, but then the water rose up, so I had to destroy a part of our roof, me and mom kicked at it til it opened, we bent it so we could have a make-shift shelter, and so we stayed there 'til 3 am, by 6, I swan dived just to get in our room, threw furniture around to make way, then I opened the door, helped the neighbors move out their stuff, then James Dominic Quimpo and his parents came by our house and picked us up :))) Just hours after the incident, me and Jay were at DSWD repackaging goods to help other victims ♥ so yeah, I'm kind of cooler than Super Man now >:) We kicked Sendong's ass >:)) good riddance pal :) have a merry christmas ♥" Rafael Francesco Gonzales, son of my friend Josel Gonzales. "my son, Raphael Christian was tired of hearing news and stories about the recent tragedy , what he did he open my FB account and reminisce on family get-away, at least he finds pleasure looking at it. He knows that our old pictures/albums were flooded...camera were flooded.thanks for FB photos.. memories still lives :)" Glenpags Devera
